Park Models Allowed For Permanent Placement In Grant County, Wa.

Grant County has created a path for park models to be placed as a permanent residence as a manufactured home in Washington state if you meet the requirements. 

Tiny homes are also allowed. Both information packets are featured in this article.

Wa. State Insignia Required

Park Model Homes which are built and sold in WA State and contain the WA State Insignia on the Plate are allowed for permanent placement as a manufactured home in zoning districts that allow manufactured homes.

Park Models Built In Other States

Park Model Homes which are built and sold in OTHER states must contain a Data Plate perANSI A119.5 Section 1-4.2 and/or a Vehicle  Identification per Section 1-4.3 to be allowed for permanent placement as a manufactured home in zoning districts that allow manufactured homes.

Foundation Required

Permanent placement shall be permanently affixed to a foundation system per ANSIA225.1 or an approved engineered system prepared by a WA State licensed design professional AND be permanently connected to water, sewer and electrical systems.

Park Model Homes which do not comply with the standards above are not allowed for permanent placement.

Installation Requirements

Park Model Homes shall be installed per the American National Standards Institute A225.1, as required by the Revised 
as required by the Revised Code of Washington 43.22A and the Washington Administrative Codes.
