New Community Is Open!
Hermosa Orchards Village in Durango, Colorado just contacted me today to let me know about their new community. It is absolutely gorgeous! It is also a major accomplishment that they achieved this dream.
Spaces And Hookups
The park has eleven 36′ wide spaces and eleven 50′ wide spaces ranging from 95′ to 135′ in length. Each space has room for yards, tree’s, landscaping, gardening, picnic tables, etc. Utilities hook ups are provided at at the rear of the lot on the driver side with 50 & 30 amp plugs in an RV pedestal. 200 amp is available for 50′ lots. Water faucet and 4″ sewer PVC pipe for sewer.
Space Rent
Space rent ranges from $650-$850 per month and includes water and sewer services. Electric and trash is not included.
Parking for vehicles is located in the front of each space with auxiliary parking on the West and East ends of the road. There is space for a community garden if residents decide they would like one.

The Cost
What is the monthly cost of the space?
Space rent starts at $650/month and goes up to $850/month depending on the size and location of the space. A minimum of a 1 year lease is required. Each home will need a separate outside storage shed provided by the tenant.
What is included in the rent?
Water, sewer, snow plowing, irrigation water, community space with apple, cherry, plumb, and apricot trees residents can pick for personal use.
Southwest Colorado is an incredible place to live! The majestic La Plata’s full of mountain streams, waterfalls and lakes are right out your door. Great hiking, biking, and jeep roads abound. A few hours away and you are in the beautiful canyon land desert of Utah. The winters are generally mild in Durango but the skiing is great at Purgatory, Wolf Creek and Telluride.
